Nicholas Megura, 1st. Lt. Albert L. Schagel and Capt. Howard D. Hively, to name a few of the 4th Fighter Group P-51 on 18-23 March 1944. All describe encounters over Mannheim. the aerodome at Landes de Bussac and Hereford, bomber escorts.
