The pilot in the photo (if that is the question at hand), is my grandfather, Joseph Kelly. I believe the photo is credited as he in this book :http://www.amazon.com/Ghosts-Vintage-Aircraft-World-War/dp/0934738297/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1346708703&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=Ghosts%3A+Vintage+Airplanes+of+ww2
I have not seen the picture since I was in my early teens, as my grandmother passed and my aunt took the photo when she moved away. I had a copy of the book for a while, but again, not sure what happened to it.

I am trying to locate the home town (probably in Arkansas) of Joe Durham who is shown in The Eagles' War book (by Vern Haugland) showing him standing by a Spitfire with a Razorback pig on the side of the plane. I am the president of the Fort Smith Air Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas and would like to locate him or a family member to include Joe Durham in the air museum.

I recently purchased Raymnd Care's US uniform complete with his RAF wings, Eagle Squadron Bullion Patch, 8th Air Force Patch and ribbon rack. I could provide you with a picture if you would like it for your files.

I recently found my grandfather's military records. It is stated that he was an Air Force member of From Sept. 1950 to January 1951, full time active duty as an aircraft commander ferrying 4th Fighter Group from Dover Delaware to Korea. His name was Milton E. Beers. Can anyone verify this information with me. I would like to timeline his military history for my son.

I placed the picture of the unknown officer in facebook. There is a bit a a story that goes with it. I would appreciate a reply so that I could pass on the entire photo and the story. We do have a personal interest in the officer. My mother in law was a nurse in the US Army. She passed away in 1996. This picture turned up a few years ago.
